Voters swarmed the polls in November's election and the landscape of the political world
was altered drastically. Nationwide, the Democrats took control of both the House of
Representatives and the Senate. Locally, Sherrod Brown took the Senate seat formerly
held by Mike Dewine, and in the state of Ohio, the Democrats succeeded in taking the
Statehouse in addition to numerous seats in the legislature.
