For eight years, the Bush administration has turned a cold shoulder to working families, enacting trade initiatives that reward
big companies with huge profits while taking away good paying jobs from hardworking Americans. In addition, now there are
tough laws in
place that make it hard for workers to form unions.
Barack Obama has pledged his support for the Employee Free Choice Act. This Act will remove unfair encumbrances imposed
on Unions across this great country.
Obama understands working families and their struggles. He understands us.
Obama is the change we need, but he can't do it alone. He needs our help now as he works toward Election Day. In November
we must all, once again, support him as Teamsters when we step into the voting booth.
UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL
We cannot afford to let this opportunity for change pass us by.
Obama is change We, as Teamsters and as Americans, can believe in.
